We have the requirement from one of our customer(one of largest Banks) for Singapore location.
Client is looking for DBA profile with 3 - 8 years of relevent experience:
Duration : 6 months contract(extendable) with Direct customer
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in teradata database
- Must have strong exposure in Messaging and Rendezevous products
- Good understanding of project development process (SDLC)
- Possess initiative, drive, and ability to work independently and be a good team player
- Positive attitude
- Good Communication Skill (Written, Verbal , Presentation & Listening)
Added Advantage if candidates have consulting experiences.

We have the requirement from one of our customer(one of the banks) for Singapore location.
Position: Unix Administrator(Oracle DBA) Consultant ( Permanent with customer) :
Experience: 5-8 years of relevent experience:
UNIX Administrator (with Sybase/Oracle experience)
- Designs, installs, and maintains a mission-critical leading-edge UNIX (Solaris) on Sun and IBM AIX hardware infrastructure.
- Unix system management - Ownership and maintenance of associated storage and backup platforms
- Ongoing upgrade and maintenance of associated Sun hardware
- Working knowledge of maintaining Sybase databases on UNIX environments
- Maintaining relationships with the ISD Account Team and business users
- DR planning and testing
- Minimum 2 years experience for Sybase ASE 1.2/1.5
- Administer, maintain and utilize policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the databases
- Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. - Support production DBA in daily or emergency procedures to resolve issues
- Manage the on-site backup and recovery process, support off-site backup and recovery teams
- Plan and execute any required database upgrades and migration (patches etc.)
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is essential:
- Strong Solaris UNIX skills
- Strong Sun/IBM AIX hardware knowledge and associated hands-on skills
- Capacity Planning, Performance Analysis and Incident Resolution
- Disaster Recovery planning and execution - Naming services - NIS , DNS, LDAP directory, QIP
- Experience with directory and file systems - HP SAN management
