Vacancy at MZ Nickel International

MZ Nickel International


MZ Nickel International is an integrated nickel resources company,
engaging in nickel mining, ore trading, smelting and sales of nickel
pig iron business. We currently are developing mines nickel mines in
Sulawesi and Papua, Indonesia with total mining area over 17,500 Ha,
operating smelting facility of 50,000 tpa nickel pig iron production
capacity in China, and in process of acquiring a few new mines and
building up an integrated smelting operation of over 100,000 tpa
nickel pig iron production capacity in Indonesia. To support our
continued expansion in Indonesia, we are looking for management
executives for the below vacancies:
1. Chief/Senior Geologist (Send application to e mail: jinzeqing@gcl-power.com)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the exploration work of target nickel mine, includes
but not limited to: design & plannin9 of exploration work, exploration
schedule & budget; corresponding with local shareholders on
exploration related issues; evaluating other potential nickel mining
related investment opportunities; corresponding with 3rd party mining
consultant to confirm the amount of nickel resource & reserves.

Requirements:
(1) The candidate would hold at least one degree in Geology or related
subjects; the candidate should have been participating in or leading
at least one latent nickel mine exploration project.
2) Fluent communication in both Indonesian & English
3) Less experienced candidate would be considered for Senior Geologist
4) Candidate would prepare to work long term in Sorowako, Sulawesi or
Jayapura, Papua of Indonesia.

2. Chief Supply Chain Manager (Send application to e-mail:

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the strategic and Operational work in procurement and
inventory management to ensure a smooth operation of the business.
Duties include, but not limited to: identify and evaluate suppliers
for equipment and resources; develop and implement contracting
strategies and supply chain management systems; manage the tendering
and contracting process, including negotiating terms and condition of
procurement contracts with local suppliers; continually monitor the on
going cost and quality performance of different suppliers; procurement
planning and budgeting: grow and develop the Supply Chain Management
team according to business needs.

Requirements:
1. Over 8 years experiences in supply chain and procurement
management, within which at least 3 years in the mining related
industry
2. Fluent communication in both Indonesian & English
3. Good ethical standard
4. Experience of working in Chinese or multinational corporation is an advantage
5. Experience of managing a team is essential, while the candidate
should also be able to resolve problems in a hands-on manner
6. Less experienced candidate would be considered for manager role

3. Human Resources Manager and supervisor

Requirements:
Responsible for managing the human resources operations in our mining
and smettin9 business. Dutiesincludebut not limited to: recruitment,
benefit and remuneration management, organization structure.

ensure that the company meets the requirements regarding to the
Indonesia mining laws as well as the local social and labor
conventions; implement HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:
1. At least 5 years experience in human resources role, preferably in
the mining industry
2. HR generalist experience at management level is essential
3. Degree or Diploma in Human Resources field is essential
4. Fluent communication in Indonesian and British; ability to
communicate in Chinese is an advantage
5. Willing travel to Sulawesi and Papua.
If 5 year lower, can be as HR supervisor (Supervisor location: Sulawesi site)

4. Chief Infrastructure Manager (Send application to e-mail:

Requirements
Responsible for the management of the infrastructure construction work
in our developing sites. Duties include but not limited to: supervise
the implementation of project infrastructure plan, provide project
schedule, monitoring project time delivery and budget control; lead
and conduct trouble-shooting activities in the course of
infrastructure construction.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
2. Over 8 years working experience, with minimum 2 years experience at
similar position, preferably from mining industries
3. Fluent communication in Indonesian and English
4. A good leader, problem solver and communicator
5. Candidate would prepare to work in the site at Sorowako, Sulawesi
or Jayapura, Papua.

5. Local Relationship Manager (Send application to e-mail:

Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining local relationships to
support business operation and development. Duties include, but not
limited to: identify and source mining investment and business
cooperation opportunities, interact with local community regarding to
disputes and collaborations, liaise with local government departments
in the course of business operation.

Requirements:
(1) Over 8 years working experiences, and with relevant experienced in
the mining industry is preferred
(2) Fluent communication in Indonesian and English
(3) Ability to development a supportive relationship with and interact
with local community and the government
(4) Familiar with the culture and business environment in Sorowako,
Sulawesi or Jayapura, Papua

6. On-site Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibility
Responsible for establishing and managing the operation of the on-site
laboratory, duties include but not limited to, design the layout and
equipment setup for the laboratory; perform testing and analysis
according to the requests from geologists and prepare analysis
reports; prepare samples for external party testing and evaluate
testing result prepared by external parties; train and guide junior
laboratories.

Requirements:
1. Majored in Chemistry and relevant disciplines, with theoretical
knowledge of elemental analysis
2. At least three years practical experience in mine laboratories;
working experience in nickel mine is an advantage
3. Good grasp of laboratory work and knowledge of using major equipment
4. Capable to manage and establish a mine laboratory
5 Willing to work in Papua, Indonesia

7. FINANCE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENT POSITION (send application to

In the Finance Department, we are hiring for the following roles:
1. Costing staff/officer 2. Account Receivables staff 3. Account
Payable staff 4. .7reasury Officer 5. Budgeting staff 6.Taxation staff
or Officer 7. Reporting Officer 8. Internal Control 9. Fresh Graduate
of Finance or accounting 10. Assisting finance/accounting manager

Responsibility:
Depending on the role, responsibilities include preparing monthly cost
report, AP and AR report. finance report compliant with Indonesia
GAAP; taking part in budget control; advising on import/ export tax
and taking part in tax audit; and implementing internal control
policies.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or Big 4 experience
is preferred.
2. Maximum 35 years old, with at least 3-5 years; fresh graduation
with 0-0.5 year experience would be considered for junior roles.
3. Experience in MNC or big foreign funded company is preferred;
having worked in power plant or mining company would be an advantage
r (4) Fluent oral and written English; Mandarin is an advantage
(5) experienced in ERP/SAP preferred
