Position 1 : Shift Leader
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervise Operation Engineers assigned to his/her shift on supporting
daily operations activities.
Ensure the changes and incidents are performed in accordance with
change and incident management guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational activities during the shift and
handover the shift successfully to the subsequent shift
- Prepares incident and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports
- Conduct orientation and coaching of new hires
- Conduct operating system health periodically, in accordance with the
daily/weekly/ monthly checklists
- Conduct application basic health check, in accordance with the
procedures provided by the relevant parties
- Perform system administration function for Wintel and Unix (& AS400
is an added value)
- Escalate any issues with the applications to the relevant parties;
and escalate within
Fujitsu management on unable to resolve any issues within the SLA.
- Maintenance of the operating systems - Wintel and Unix (& AS400 is
an added value)
- Keep the systems up to date with the latest security patches and
antivirus signatures
- Maintain user profiles and user grouping
- Review the change requests for compliance with the change
management process
- Enforce the change management process
- Basic knowledge on performing SQL, DB2 and/or Oracle database
changes as officiated
through change request management process
- Handle the Tape Backups; ensure the tapes are backed up
successfully, retrieved and
stored properly at both onsite and offsite; and also to ship out any
tapes required for the
Disaster Recovery site.
- Schedule the backups as needed and coordinate the recall of the
tapes in case of restore
needed
- Ensure backup tapes are checked in and out in accordance to daily
batch schedules
requirements.
- Work with Tape Librarian to ensure the correct tapes and sufficient
scratch pool is
available for day-to-day operations.

Position 2 - Support Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Support daily operations activities. Ensure the changes and incidents
are performed in
accordance with Metlife change and incident management guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct operating system health periodically, in accordance with the
daily/weekly/ monthly checklists
- Conduct application basic health check, in accordance with the
procedures provided by the relevant parties
- Produce daily reporting on activities performed during the shift eg
shift reporting, change request reporting.
- Perform system administration function for Wintel and Unix (& AS400
is an added value)
- Escalate any issues with the applications to the relevant parties
- Maintenance of the operating systems – Wintel and Unix (& AS400 is
an added value)
- Keep the systems up to date with the latest security patches and
antivirus signatures
- Maintain user profiles and user grouping
- Review the change requests for compliance with the change management process
- Enforce the change management process
- Basic knowledge on performing SQL, DB2 and/or Oracle database changes as officiated
through change request management process
- Implement/rollback of change requests in accordance with the change management
system, following the runbooks provided by the relevant parties
- Assist the relevant parties in isolating the cause of the incidents
and resolving them within the service level with our client
- Handle the Tape Backups; ensure the tapes are backed up
successfully, retrieved and stored properly at both onsite and offsite; and also to ship out any
tapes required for the Disaster Recovery site.
- Schedule the backups as needed and coordinate the recall of the
tapes in case of restore needed

Position 3 – Network Engineer

Network design
IP address subnetting/planning
L2 and L3 segregation
Switching topologies
Routing concepts
Implementing redundancy

Network security
Familiarity with common application ports
Experience with firewalls and VPN (IPsec and SSL-based)

Network troubleshooting
Have a concept/approach to troubleshooting
Sniffer and TCPdump knowledge (optional)

Position 4 – Oracle DBA

Knowledge of Oracle and DB2. MS-SQL knowledge is a plus.
At least 2 years experience in Oracle administration.
Basic knowledge of UNIX.
Understand installation and upgrade of databases.
Knowledge of SQL commands is required.
Knowledge of backup and recovery of databases.
Hands on Oracle 9i, 10g
Hands on DB2 8.1, 8.2
Good communication skills.

Position 5 – Solaris Administrator

Knowledge of Solaris 9 and 10. AIX/Linux knowledge is a plus.
At least 2 years experience in Solaris administration.
Experience with Enterprise system like Sun Fire 15K/25K is a plus.
Understand installation and upgrades. Understand jumpstart server and TCPIP.
Hands on Solaris 9 Good communication skills.

Position 6 – AS400 Administrator

Understand the system administration and control, and as well as
system security. Knowledge in managing user profiles and authority is
an advantage.
Must be able to perform troubleshoot escalated and able to manage
multiple LPAR
Knowledge in backup and recovery is a plus especially BRMS.
Knowledge in CLP programming is a plus
Knowledge of replication concept or high availability is a plus.
