Job Description/ Requirement We are urgently look for candidate for
the position of build Engineer with our client. We require the
candidate to be more senior with more years of experience.
Build Engineer
Key Responsibilities

 Responsible for maintenance of build automation and Version
Control application, scripts and tools.
 Perform build and packaging of Software artifacts (source
code, db changes, etc) to various environment (SIT, UAT, Production)
 Evaluate and/or develop new tools and features to improve the
build process and productivity based on the Software Configuration
Management best practices
 Responsible for SIT Deployment and maintaining SIT and DEV Environment
 Interact with stakeholders in Development teams to seek
automation opportunities and understand new automation requirements.
 Acquire application-specific knowledge from the Development
team for build, packaging and deployment.
Required Technical Skills and Experiences
• Degree or Diploma
 Good knowledge of Software Configuration Management and
Software Development Life Cycle
 Having hands-on experience on the usage of any build tools
(e.g: cruise control, Hudson) and any SCM/Version Control tools (e.g:
SVN, CVS,VSS).
 Familiarity with source code tools/process, and other common
development activities (e.g : bug tracking, code review)
 Having experience in the web-based software development using
either J2EE or C# (.NET) is highly advantageous
 Knowledge of any scripting languages is highly advantageous
(e.g: Ant, NAnt)
 Knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle DBMS is highly advantageous
 Highly motivated, creative, fast learner and flexible to the
demands of the job
