ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES (Main job responsibilities); Act as a Project Manager (on individual study basis) for all reports and studies assigned by the respective clients. The person must have a sound understanding of Project Management and communication, coaching and technical advisory skills. He is to be responsible for delivering accurate reports. A Project Manager is also responsible for managing jobs within SM as time set targets.
SPECIFICATION; Education:' Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering / related discipline
Work Experience; 5-6 years in Oil & Gas Consultancy experience
Languages & Computer Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English . PC literacy : MS Office
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS; MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
LEVEL
1)To have a clear understanding of the fundamentals of Project Management i..e. planning of time, cost and resources for each project.
2) To constantly coach subordinate Consultants on technical issues, latest Engineering practises in order for them to execute the project accurately and in timely manner.
3)To constantly communicate with senior technical authorities by giving inputs and feedbacks on the progress of the projects.
4)To provide technical support to Proposal Department on related proposals on a timely manner.
5)To effectively communicate and discuss with clients on the results and findings of the project so that the objective of the project are met and correct solutions are provided during kick-off and progress meetings so that the objective of the project is on the right track.
6)To conduct post-morterm meetings for each completed project with team members in order to share findings and to create a technical repository for future reference.
7)Should project and aim to eliminate bottlenecking and take ownership of project/s to ensure timely completion and avoid setbacks on gross margin.
8)To have systematic decision making skills
9)To provide critical input and be responsible for value addition and reports particularly in conclusion and recommendation sections.
10)Planning of jobs and delegating responsibilities to juniors at internal kick off stage for projects.
11)Overall management of projects and effective use of Project Management Forecast.
Job Title; Principal Risk & Safety Consultant
DEPARTMENT; Risk and Safety Department
JOB DESCRIPTION; Responsible for managing all risk and safety consultancy services and managing clients¢ expectations and requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; Manage and execute risk and safety related services
Review the quality of all safety study reports before they are sent to clients
Responsible for all HSE coordination in the safety department
Develop and expand technical capabilities on safety related work
Communicate or liaise with client on proposals
Be the focal point for fronting all clients giving a practical and objective view on recommendations made
Develop and train junior consultants
Develop and improve technical management process
QUALIFICATIONS; Bachelor¢s degree in Chemical Engineering; A minimum of 10 years job-related experience in oil and gas industry
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES; Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skill; Good analytical skill ;Self motivated and self driven; Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and in a team environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS; Must be able to work on several projects simultaneously, and work effectively under deadline.; Local and overseas traveling; Multi-task challenges
