Safety Superintendent in Saudi Arabia

Spie Oil & Gas Services international group of services to industry (oil, gas, chemicals, petrochemicals) composed with 4 000 people, 24 subsidiaries split up in Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa looks for a Safety Superintendent

The project:
It is a grass root full conversion refining & petrochemical project, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco & TOTAL.
The project will be based in eastern province of Saudi arabia in Jubail industrial city, its treatment capacity is 400 000 barrel/day

Main competencies:

Minimum 15 years of refining experience with process technical experience and safety services background.
Minimum 5 years of Managerial experience
Language: English
Previous experience in working in multicultural environment is appreciated
Knowledge on modern Safety management principles (ISRS or equivalent)
Knowledge on Safety legislation related to Oil industry
Knowledge on Risk Assessment, root cause analysis, Safety reviews techniques.
Good organizational and communication skills
Coach/motivation for the personnel
Ability to represent JER to external authorities

Available, responsible, open mind, capability to convince, written/verbal communication skills, rigor, leadership (emergency situation)
