Job Description
This is a Director level position. The role will have the main analytical responsibility for Fitch's coverage of Financial Institutions (other than insurance) in Taiwan i.e. banks, finance companies, financial holding companies and securities companies. It will involve interaction with Taiwan financial institutions at the highest levels and writing research reports on specific Financial Institutions and on the financial system. Experience in analyzing Financial Institutions is preferred but analysts with experience of other sectors will be considered.
The position is based in Taiwan and regular travel in Asia Pacific may be required.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have relevant experiences to assume the credit analyst role focusing on Financial Institutions, and the following:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English & Mandarin
- Master degree in financials or economics preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in credit analysis
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- The ability to work well on a team is critical
