 Remote Development Center Manager/Head vacancy for a regional IT solutions provider

 

JCI-Kimberley Executive Search International's client, a regional solutions provider with offices in several countries in S.E. Asia, that offers Professional Services in the area of Portal, Content Management System, Wealth Management Solution, Business Process Management and Business Intelligence, is currently seeking an accomplished Manager to head its Remote Development Center operations, for outsourcing of solution development and operations, in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

Full management of Remote Development Center division including hiring and building the right capacity and capability to meet the demands of the projects which may include use of third party subcontractors

Primary contact point with Project Office in Singapore for hand-over of requirements, functional and design specifications to complete development cycle

Institute the right process to ensure quality deliverables with minimal defects tolerance across portfolio of projects including regimented testing discipline and quality control

Implement the right control to ensure delivery within scope, timeline and budget; and tight interlock with Project Office for identification of issues/risks and corrective action plan

Requirements

Experience in division management preferable, at a minimum program or project management required with PMP qualification desirable

In-depth exposure to full SDLC and broad understanding of J2ME technical landscape to enable fine-tuning of process and direct quality delivery

Prior hands-on development experience enabling appreciation of issues and insights to implement solid estimation, work breakdown, tracking and quality control

FSI experience particularly knowledge of Wealth Management and insurance solutions desirable

High degree of self motivation, proactive and results oriented able to work under minimal supervision and demanding pressures

English proficiency both written and spoken is mandatory
