INFORMATION SECURITY CONSULTANT - based in Singapore

Position Overview:

• Position in the West Singapore with a major MNC
• 12 months contract-to-perm option
• Competitive remuneration package awaits the right candidate

The incumbent will report to the Information Security Team Lead and be responsible for the engineering and development of advanced security technologies. He/She will work closely with other members of Network Engineering, Network Operations, and IT aligned business areas to engineer and manage security solutions.

The Requirements:

• A good tertiary education in the related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field, out of which 3 years are in developing, operating and supporting high quality global technologies with common IP protocols and networking
• Must have experience in the following: Anti-virus service design and configuration Disk encryption Data leakage prevention IPS/IDS technologies Firewall design and policy configuration, Information security principles and Security event monitoring/analysis
• Candidates should be able to develop information security solutions in an enterprise environment specifically in the Detection and Response and Risk Management area
• Good in problem solving, high personal integrity and credibility
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong interest to pursue a career in the area of Information Security
