Firmware Engineer
This is 3-9 months in TX.

Firmware Development Engineer responsible for Review, Integration, Unit Test and Debug of Enterprise Server Firmware.
Understanding of industry specifications, embedded systems development, Intel and AMD architectures, and the software development lifecycle.
Solid understanding of one or more of the following industry specifications: I2C, IPMI, KCS, USB, SNMP, SM-CLP, WS-MAN, TCPIP.
Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of the software development and test process. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid C development skills including the use of debug tools. Experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS, embedded Linux). Experience with PowerPC or other embedded processors desired. Experience Debugging and Testing Embedded Firmware desired.
Accountabilities: Develop Software (PRP), Test Software (PRP), Develop Test Strategy and Test Cases (PRP), Integrate Software (PRP), Deliver Complete Software (PRP), Maintain Software (PRP)
