Job Description

 

The Ecommerce Content Specialist will be responsible for understanding and maintaining the Ecommerce content catalog for multiple websites.  You will be in charge of maintaining relationships with geographically diverse marketing and sales management teams.  Also perform operational and development tasks in support of the online service, other web services and online products.

 

Responsibilities

 

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Assume complete ownership for assigned areas and be responsible for the pricing and presentation as displayed to consumers
  • Keep the product/service specifications, pricing and additional information up-to-date for assigned areas of our website
  • Ensure accurate and coherent product and service content on the websites
  • Maintain content integrity on websites, conducting random monitoring of live site content
  • Solve problems and develop solutions to content issues and customer satisfaction concerns
  • Maintain communication between the sales and marketing teams pricing and presentation
  • Post content on the website within SLA requirements, in accordance with the overall design and content strategy
  • Add, remove and edit information on a daily basis
  • Maintain and implement changes and updates to product descriptions, prices, images, and specifications reflecting latest promotions and offers
  • Perform Legal Audits per Cox Customer Legal and Regulatory Guidelines as well as FCC/FTC Regulations
  • Provide regular updates to management
  • Develop procedures for adding/editing product content and maintaining a system of notifications
  • Develop procedures for measuring successes and challenges in both external implementations and internal processes
  • Report on and provide detailed analysis on SLA timeframes

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Team player who can work independently with minimal Supervision and demonstrate initiative, ability to prioritize tasks, follow up as needed, and meet established SLA deadlines
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and working cross functionally with other departments
  • Commitment to quality, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp business concepts and processes, including the company's supply chain, Ecommerce and inventory management operations
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to be effective at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of Internet operations and content production is essential
  • Strong reasoning/problem solving and analytical skills
  • Computer and technically savvy
  • Associate, BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Background in Business Analysis and/or Marketing recommended
  • Recommended 2-3 years work experience in a detail-oriented position, preferably in the Ecommerce industry
  • Certified in or familiar with Six Sigma Processes
