Premier Silicon Valley recruiting firm that uses only senior executives to lead every candidate search is looking for experienced Sourcers to help us expand our business.
Our core customer value proposition is that our recruiters are not "career" recruiters at all, but rather are experienced functional (sales, marketing, finance, engineering, etc.) executives with lengthy track records and a history of building great teams "in industry". We are growing rapidly (even in this economy) and are looking to grow our team of Sourcers.
The Sourcers support the executive-led recruiting process. They focus exclusively on finding great talent through a variety of online and offline means. This will include Google Boolean searches, Linkedin profile and group searches, Monster/Dice/etc. database searches, networking/professional group searches and direct reach into targeted companies.
Sourcers are a critical success factor at our company. As such, they must be professional, courteous, effective communicators, well spoken, meticulously organized and process driven. We are interested in finding Sourcers who have been superstars at past jobs, with a reputation for being smart and getting work done. Extensive reference checking will be done on any finalist candidate for this position.
Job duties:
• Work with Recruiting Executive and Recruiting Process Managers to create sourcing plan of attack for each position
• Execute the sourcing plan using all tools at your disposal
• Direct sourcing input (resumes, etc.) into our candidate tracking system
Desired background:
• Must have 1+ years sourcing experience
• We are looking for sourcing experience in all functional areas including engineering, IT, finance, accounting, sales, marketing and operations.
• Must have experience with the following:
o Linkedin profile search
o Linkedin group posting and search
o Networking/professional group search (such as Java engineering groups, CPA networks, etc.)
o Google Boolean search
o Job board database search
o Direct company search (search within specific target companies)
• Must be articulate as the job calls for Sourcers to make calls to some candidates to assess their availability and other high-level parameters
• Must have experience with candidate tracking systems
• Must have a track record of success
• Have at least two and preferably three references from former boss/manager/supervisor – no "peer" or other references will be considered
• This is a work-at-home position. All of our systems are online and available via the internet
Compensation:
• This is a contractor position with variable hours, starting at 20 hours a week and growing as business needs dictate and as we determine your ability to handle more work
• Rate is $10 - $15/hr and will be based on experience and fit for the position
