We are currently taking applicants for the following positions:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Requirements:
1. Overall 10 yeas experience, with a minimum of 5 years experience in
heavy industrial projects, preferably in Mining & Minerals Infrastructure.
2. Preferable to have worked with a world class international Corporation.
3. Possess a Master of Business Administration degree, with an
undergraduate degree in engineering preferred (but not essential).
4. Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and meet business
growth and development targets.
5. Requires the abiltiy to coordinate own efforts such that they meet
business deadlines.
6. Extensive experience in Report preparation and Presentations.
7. Must be proficient in Microsoft software applications.
8. May require local and overseas travel from time to time.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
1. Source opportunities for new business through establishing and
developing relationships with new clients in existing markets, new
industry contacts and potential clients in new markets via sales
calls, face to face visits, presentations and lobbying.
2. Develop new contracting strategies (eg. alliancing, joint
venturing, EPC) by investigating competitor and market practices and
determining those that would be advantageous to Petrosea Marketing/
selling new contracting concepts to clients.
3. Build long term relationship with clients by gaining an
understanding of the clients strategy and upcoming
projects/opportunit ies and clearly demonstrating Petrosea's capacity
to act as partner in helping the clients achieve their strategic goals.
4. Assess impact of changes in the market, government policy etc. on
Petrosea's strategic goals, contracting strategies and tendering
strategies.
5. Provide information/ answer questions on all aspects of projects in
an easy to understand manner and in non-technical language if required
construction, on site, engineering and quality aspects.
LEAD ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
Requirements:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 yeas experience as a Senior E/I Engineer with at least a
further 3 years experience in a managerial position within E&I project
engineering.
3. Familiar with Codes used in Electrical industrial areas such as
PUL, IEC, NEC, AS/ New Zealand etc.
4. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering Software such as ETAP, SKM,
EDSA etc. would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, develop and maintain resources within the E&I discipline of
the Engineering department.
2. Support and assist all functions within the company in order to
reach their goals.
3. Prepare progress reports, develop engineering deliverables and
squad check documents accurately.
4. Review and prepare Scope of Work documents, Specifications and
Basis of Design documentation.
5. Report and communicate with Clients and Management and ensure all
activities are on schedule and on budget.
PROJECT ENGINEER
Requirements:
1. Degree in any discipline of engineering.
2. 5 years experience as a Project Engineer in infrastructure
engineering and construction industries preferably with mining and or
construction companies.
Responsibilities: 1. Coordination of all engineering disciplines
involved in a specific project.
2. Engineer to achieve project contractual requirements.
3. Effective Client liaison.
4. Assist where required with procurement, fabrication and
construction to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with
project requirements.
5. Identify engineering problems and provide timely cost efficient
solutions.
6. Provide accurate budget and scheduling reports.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) COORDINATOR
Requirements:
1. S1 degree of prominent university from Environment Engineering,
Economy Mess Communication, Psychology, Sociology, or Cultural Science.
2. Min. 7 years of working experience at the same field and position/
equivalent.
3. Proven experience in community development & competency in
participating management.
4. Deep understanding of community initiative subject.
5. Shows good people skills, strong communication, presentation &
negotiation skills, maturity, understand how to approach/deal with
communities, local government, NGOs, & other key stakeholders.
6. Demonstrate ability in project development, design, implementation
& evaluation.
7. Demonstrate ability to build cohesive teams & achieve goals through
teamwork.
Responsibilities:
1. Mapping the priority stakeholders in areas in which the Company
operates, developing and maintaining relationship with priority
stakeholders and initiating capacity building.
2. Developing CSR strategies, initiating & implementing Community
Development programs at Corporate & Project levels.
3. Advising the management with key community issues which may
potentially influence company reputation.
General requirement for all positions:

2. Team oriented, self motivated and ability to prioritize work.
3. Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively
communicate with all levels of staff within the organization.
4. A can do attitude with a hands on approach.
