EDUCATION:
1. BE / BTech / M Sc / BA / BCom with relevant certifications
2. LPI or Redhat or Solaris certified
3. MCP / MCSE / MCDBA / CCNA Certified
INDICATE WORK / SHIFT HOURS:
Will Work in a 24 X 7 Environments (under RIMM Operations at INOC, NM, Vikhroli)
TECHNICAL SKILLS MANDATORY:
1. Strong in Windows OS Administration
2. MS SQL Server Administration
3. IIS (FTP / SMTP / Web Server)
4. OS Hardening / OS Security / Security Patches
5. Good working knowledge on Active Directory Server (ADS / LDAP)
6. Good Knowledge on DNS / WINS / DHCP
7. Working knowledge on Virtualization
TECHNICAL SKILLS DESIRED:
1. Worked on Blade Servers.
2. Worked on Storage Devices (i.e. SAN / NAS)
3. NOC & Datacenter experience
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strong Knowledge on Windows OS fundamentals
2. Strong Knowledge on Windows related Services, like IIS, FTP, RDBMS, DHCP, Active directory, DFS, SNMP, WMI, Terminal Services, Clustering and troubleshooting of problems related to them.
3. Will be responsible for the maintenance RIMM Project (Including Remote Installation and Maintenance of existing setup / Server / Servers and installation of new setup / Server / Servers).
4. Working Knowledge on RDBMS {SQL Server / Oracle}.
5. Will be responsible for the maintenance RIMM Project (Including Remote Installation and Maintenance of existing setup / Server / Servers and installation of new setup / Server / Servers).
6. Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM / HP / Dell / Cisco.
7. Good knowledge of Network and Firewall process.
8. Following up with Vendors – hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes.
9. Raise and also update the tickets in CRM in details for all the issues handled / worked upon. Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports.
10. Working Knowledge on Mail server (Exchange / Any other mail)
11. Apply patches to the OS / applications or upgrade the applications as and when required, as per the approval from the respective Manager.
SECONDARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Should have to maintain a team of expertise.
2. Must have good communication skills. Verbal & Written skill on English is must.
3. Will make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and escalated as per the escalation Matrix. Define the reasons for unsolved / unattended issues.
4. Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports.
5. Need to make sure that the issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments.
6. Should be taking conference calls with the international customers.
7. Have to prepare Technical Documents as and when needed.
