Need urgently - Wintel Tier L3- Malaysia

working hour US day shift (8 x 5) : We need ppl who has engineering
experience, to gather requirements, design and specify systems and
build team.

Responsibilities include the following:
• Configure, implement, and administer new and existing
servers, operating systems and applications software.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and processes for hardware,
software, and applications.
• Interact with multiple business units, Operations, Security
and Engineering Staff in deployment of new hardware.
• Develop, modify, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing
systems.
• Perform hardware and software recovery.
• Perform operational and security turnover on all system
implementations.
• Work with vendors to install new systems.
• Analyze and resolve operating systems and applications issues
on various systems.
• Generate and maintain reports and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
• Ability to build and administer systems and servers remotely

Required Skillsets:
• Knowledge and implementation experience with Microsoft Server
Operating Systems, specifically Windows Server 2000 and Windows
Server 2003.
• Knowledge and implementation experience with Microsoft Server
based services such as Active Directory, MS SQL Server, MS Cluster
services, MS IIS, etc.
• Knowledge and implementation of MS Server OS and application
services within a VMWare ESX guest operating system environment.
• Ability to communicate with AIGGS staff and clients.
Preferred Skillsets:
• Knowledge and implementation experience with operating system
image tools such as Symantec Ghost or Acronis True Image
• Knowledge and implementation experience with system agents
such as Legato Networker, CA-Unicenter/ R11, Symantec ESM, McAfee
Virus Scan
• Worked with automated trouble ticket and change management
tools such as Remedy and Peregrine.
• Knowledge and implementation experience with current Dell
PowerEdge series server platforms
• Knowledge and implementation experience with Storage Area
Network and Network Attached Storage solutions, specifically on the
server side. Includes driver/firmware install and config for HBAs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, NIC Teaming, CISCO, 3 Tier DMZ
implementations.
• Knowledge and active use of documentation tools such as MS
Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
appropriate technical solutions as well as appropriate weekly status
reports.
