SUMMARY
· Around 6+ years of experience of Network & System Administration, Primarily in a production and development environment with multiple skills of Active Directory, Exchange Server 5.5 & 2003 Messaging systems, Migration of Windows NT 4.0 to Windows Server 2003 using Active Directory migration tool (ADMT 2.0), Quest domain migration wizard & NetIQ.
· “Hands-on” background in TCP/IP LAN/WAN environments with solid skills in system configuration and optimization of Windows family workstations as well as migration of Exchange server, Active Directory/Group Policies.
· Expertise in installing, upgrading, migrating & troubleshooting of Windows 2003/2000/NT Server & Professional in different hardware including HP, Dell, Compaq, IBM, Toshiba etc.
· Experience on High Availability clustered environments.
· Proficient experience of Active Directory, application and storage migrations as well as migrating users, computers and resources from NT4 domains to new platforms and/or AD forests with the help of migration tools. Working knowledge of QMM, QME, EMW, DMW, NDS, GroupWise Migrator and Notes Migrator.
· Experience of configuring DNS, DHCP, MAPI, Print Server, Sendmail, NIS, NFS, WINS, Microsoft Clusters, Network Load Balancing, Terminal Servers and web servers like IIS, Apache and WebSphere.
· Exposure to various technologies like, wireless LAN, Cisco Router, VPN client, Cisco Switches, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN, PPP, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, VoIP, DNS, DMZ, WebHosting, FTP Server, Leased Lines, Firewalls, RAS installation and support.
· In depth experience of security products (RSA Secure id, Applying IT & Network Security policies for the Organization) and audit concepts.
· Beginner level knowledge in UNIX and .NET programming. Also have worked in Sybase environment.
· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and time management skill.
· Consistent Communication Skills: Reported in a clear, concise, and thorough fashion, simplifying difficult concepts and developing concrete terms for abstract ideas while increasing accuracy.
