Job Descriptions as follows:
1. Project Engineer
Objectives of the Position:
Project engineer direct and coordinate the engineering activities
pertinent to execution of the project.
Main Tasks:
o Management and the co-ordination of all project installation
engineering between design/ engineering, material procurement, load
out design and transportation of line pipe and offshore installation
activities
o Management and installation engineering, material
procurement, load out design and transportation of equipment and
materials
o Verify the compliance of design with the project quality
requirements and contractual obligations
o Ensure the timely availability of pertinent technical
documents as per established document release schedule
o Promote any steps which may be required to prevent or
minimize delays of engineering activities
o Analyze changes in the Scope of Work and assist the Project
Manager/Project Planning and cost Control in assessing the relevant
costs and implications
o Issue of Purchase Requests for material and/or equipment
related to the Project
2. Field Engineers
Objectives of the Position:
Field engineer is responsible for coordinating and solving problems
that may arise in connection with the revision or updating of field
engineering during performance of the work
Main Tasks:
o Monitor implementation and adequacy of the construction/
installation procedures established for the project
o Receipt of all the technical documentation on site
o Filing, reproducing and distribution of all technical
documents required for performance of the Work
o Updating and revision of the drawings according to amendments
and modifications carried out in field Depending on the project
complexity.
o Receiving inspection and record keeping of all material from
Company.
o Reporting of non -conformances, the monitoring of careful
segregation of quarantined material and rectification of defects and
clearance of materials from quarantine.
o Assuring the traceability of uniquely identified critical
materials while materials are in storage.
o The monitoring and recording of the condition and state of
preservation of materials released from storage for processing and/or
construction
o Coordinating and solving problems that may arise in
connection with the revision or updating of field engineering
performance of the work
o Filling and distribution of all the project technical
documentation received on the barge and prepare and maintain updated
documents of relevant list
o Updating and revision of the drawings according to the
amendments and modifications carried out in the field "as built
drafts"
o Preparation of the daily reports, progress reports and any
other installation reports such as dimension check reports, pipeline
tally sheets, pile driving records etc.
o Material receiving reports.
3. Senior Project Controls Engineer
Objectives of the Position:
Project control engineer is responsible for control aspects of the
project
Main Tasks:
o Preparation of scheduling and cost control procedures in
conformance with the requirements of Company and with the in-house
standards
o Preparation, in collaboration with the project manager, and
updating of the Project Master Schedule
o Monitoring the progress of the project activities, indicating
where corrective actions are required
o Preparation of the progress reports for the project manager
and for Company
o Monitoring of the project financial performance and updating
of the budget
o Assistance to the project manager in assessment of cost and
time impact of work changes
