1.   Spread Superintendent 5


-          BS/MS in Engineering

-          10+  years experiences

-          Strong leadership skills while still able to nurture harmony in the work teams

-          Full understanding of site safety issues and onshore pipeline construction methods

-          Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English

-          Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members, including consultants and contractor personnel

-          Provide input to and review development of contractor's detailed plans to complete the work

-          Monitor and appraise contractor's performance and recommend corrective action to be taken where deficiencies are detected; verify actions are taken

-          Coordinate resolution of production and technical issues with appropriate company and contractor resources on and off-site

-          Establish, implement, and maintain mechanical completion verification plan and process

-          Ensure appropriate Material Handling and Working Environment reviews are carried out at site and that findings are resolved and implemented by contractor

-          Liaise with on-site Operations, Drilling, and functional personnel regarding planning and implementation of fabrication, construction, and mechanical completion activities

-          Participate in lessons learned reviews and provide input to close-out report sections upon completion of work

-          Administer the execution of the contract, including interpretations to the contract

-          Review change requests and change assessments in accordance with Management of Change Plan

-          Provide input to appraisal process for assigned site personnel

 

2.   Commissioning Mechanical Rotating Equipment & Piping


-          Experience with Mechanical, Static Equipment and Piping experience.

-          10+ years relevant work experience in Engineering, Construction or Commissioning of oil and gas project facilities or related industries and/or operations of oil and gas facilities, upstream and/or downstream, including a minimum of 2 years work experience as a Completion/Commissioning Specialist in a similar size and complexity project

-          Direct "hands on" experience in project commissioning activities of similar size and complexity.

-          Proven expertise in Mechanical and Piping systems commissioning.

-          Excellent working knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping detail, civil works, and broad-knowledge of site specific mechanical systems.

-          Strong working knowledge of plant processes combined with good trouble-shooting skills.

-          Working knowledge of industry practices, processes, and expectations with respect to mechanical equipment, piping, electrical, instrumentation and control systems completions and commissioning.

-          Practical experienced in an H2S environment.

-          Overseas work experience is desirable but not required.

-          Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with project personnel.

-          Ability to work in harsh environments and in stressful situations.

-          Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other related softwares

-          Demonstrated willingness to relocate to engineering office site, installation site and other work sites as required for the Banyu Urip onshore projects completion/commissioning.

 

3.   Integrated Project Specialist

-          Bachelors or equivalent degree in engineering.

-          10+ years of upstream oil and gas knowledge and professional experience.

-          Strong organizational and technical judgment skills.

-          Demonstrated skills to interface with multiple disparate organizations positively.

-          Strong team player experienced in working with multicultural teams.

-          Strong communication skills, preferably in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

-          Well rounded experience in engineering design, project engineering and project management.

-          Controls the flow of technical data across one or more project work package fronts (other EPCs, Drilling, Production etc.) and contractor interfaces to ensure a consistent design basis and data set, thereby assuring overall design consistency and integrity in line with the project schedule.

-          Ensure that interfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen.

-          Ensure that interfaces are executed and completed in accordance with project objectives.

-          Monitor, update and record revision and status of interfaces.

-          Maintain and update the interface register.

-          Control the process of interface identification and definition of the technical and execution interfaces.

 

4.   Field Civil / Structural Engineer - Field Facilities


-          Broad knowledge of:

§  Design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria

§  Onshore facilities and structures design, construction, and operations

§  Engineering administration

§  Company practices, processes, and expectations with respect to project engineering

-          Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Civil / Structural

-          10+ years of closely related professional experience, 3+ years of which should be at the project engineering / engineering management level

-          Support the Construction Lead by coordinating/communicating various issues among the Construction team that affect the civil and structural engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work

-          Facilitate and coordinate civil / structural engineering technical work products

-          Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, Company standards, and regulatory requirements.  Includes review of civil / structural design drawings and documents.

-          Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to project procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.

-          Steward civil / structural engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests

-          Keep Construction Lead informed of civil / structural engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns

-          Participate actively in the project's change management program

-          Steward the process of capturing and communicating civil / structural engineering and design lessons learned for the project

-          Assist the Construction Lead in stewarding the EPC contractor's activities with respect to civil / structural engineering execution including:

-          Ensure that all affected parties are familiar with engineering execution plans, procedures, objectives, and overall job requirements

-          Ensure that the contractor staffs the project with adequate numbers of qualified personnel

-          Ensure that the contractor employs the appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software

-          Ensure that the contractor adheres to all appropriate specifications and standards

-          Ensure that the contractor provides all contract documents, including those referred to in the job spec.

-          Reinforce the requirement for the contractor to control the work, i.e. accurate and timely progress measurement and reporting

 

5.   Contract Assistant


Assist the EPCA during the tendering and contracting process. Also may assist the CA in administering EPC contracts.  The job is an entry point for development to move into a buyer or PSA position.

-          Developing Tender Documents:

§  Help identify templates and go-by's

§  Establish and manage the LAN directory

§  Assist in document preparation (editing, typing, incorporating comments and changes, managing the master copy)

§  Format and standardize documents

§  Coordinate reviews with functional experts

§  Assist with translations

-          Tender and Contract Development Process:

§  Coordinate placing of media announcements

§  Issue invitations to bidders and coordinate issuing and receipt of bid documents

§  Assist in reviewing Administrative submittals

§  Handle correspondence with bidders and proper documentation

§  Establish files and ensure compliance with filing requirements

§  Arrange review and clarification meetings

§  Track exceptions and status of MCL's replies to such requests

§  Conform documents as required

§  Coordinate functional reviews

§  Assist in preparing award recommendation documents

-          Contract Execution (optional):

§  Establish procurement correspondence procedures

§  Establish procurement files

6.   Cost & Schedule Engineer


-          Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology

-          5+ years of cost and schedule experience with a relatively uniform mix of cost and schedule controls achievements.

-          Prior overseas experience with Engineering and procurement phase of capital projects.

-          Upstream/Offshore/Engineering, Procurement and construction experience

-          Experience with project control software programs such as Microsoft office  Profession Suite of software programs, Lotus notes and scheduling software (Primavera,  etc.

-          Good written and verbal communications skills.

-          Good technical/business team skills, ability to work with others.

-          Read, write and speak fluent English at a professionally competent level whether dealing with technical or commercial issues

-          Willing to work overseas in a team environment.

-          Provides Cost and schedule information to using system and methods for project management, cost control, schedule, etc

-          Implements all aspects of the project change management, estimating, cost control, progress measurement and schedule control.

7.   Regional Mechanical Technical Authority (Level G/F)


Region Technical Authorities are expert in Mechanical engineering. The Mechanical Engineering TA is a primary source of technical advice in mechanical areas to the EA (Engineering Authority) within the Region.

Region ME Technical Authority shall:

-          At minimum bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Master degree

-          Minimum of 15 years continues experience in Oil & Gas industry experience – offshore and onshore projects and operations, with at least 5 years as Lead engineer

-          Expert knowledge of design, selection and application of ME including Pressure Vessel, Piping, Heat Exchanger, Valve in oil & gas offshore and onshore projects and facilities.

-          Expert knowledge in Risk Based lnspection and Maintenance of ME within the hydrocarbon gas processing and LNG industry.

-          Proven capability to provide ME technical guidance and assurance for major projects / operations, Knowledgeable of key engineering contractors and ME suppliers

-          Expert knowledge and experience in Commissioning, Start up, Operational and Reliability Maintenance of Mechanical Equipment.

-          Having expert knowledge of international codes and standard associated with ME, including evaluating deviations or exemptions to established specifications and standards.

-          Expert knowledge and experience in risk management techniques (ISD / Hazop / Lopa / API 14J)

-          Proven experience and participating in RCFA and incident investigations

-          Having good facilitating and Leadership skills

-          Willing to regularly travel to site as and when required

-          Having good leadership and communication skills

-          Professional Engineering member / chartered

-          LNG and Refinery experience

-          Strong stroke mechanical static and piping

-          Advise the EA and Region staff on issues relating to Mechanical Engineering and equipment / facilities technical integrity.

-          Technically evaluate and advise on the use of appropriate specifications, standards, practices and design guidelines, including exceptions to the Company ETPs (Engineering Technical Practices), region STPs (Standard Technical Practices) and industry standards to support project, plant modification and improvement

-          Serve as a principal resource to the Region EA for the development of the Region STPs

-          Be involved / consulted in Risk management (ISD, Hazid, Hazop, Lopa, API 14J) that relates to ME (Mechanical Equipment).

-          Conduct RCFA on incidents related to ME and provide proper improvement plan

-          Technically evaluate the SCS (Safety Critical System) related to ME to meet the performance standard. Advise maintenance and inspection frequencies and techniques to meet the target availability and reliability.

-          Actively participate in Company technical networks / communities of interest, maintaining a strong awareness of technical learning, advances within ME area. Link with the ME Segment Technical Authorities and SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) to understand ETP / risk-related issues, and network on potential exceptions

-          Facilitating the health of ME discipline activities – development program, CoP (Community of Practice) shared learning.

 

8.   Lead Mechanical Engineer - (Level G)


Management and overall accountability for the mechanical discipline at the asset providing guidance on scope and priority in support of safe and reliant operation.

Lead Mechanical Engineer shall :

-          A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

-          Minimum of 15 years of experience in designing or maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment.

-          Knowledge of relevant Codes, Standards and applicable Regulations

-          Knowledge of mechanical systems & equipment

-          Proven technical engineer- possessing excellent interpersonal, coaching, team leadership and analytical skills

-          Extensive experience in designing or maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment.

-          Good critical thinking and problem solving skills.

-          Able to interface effectively with people of all levels, both internal and third parties, with wide ranging cultural backgrounds

-          Able to identify opportunities to manage risks, reduce costs and challenge the status quo

-          Able to define and prioritize issues and solve problems through networking with other team members or external sources

-          Highly motivated and the ability to achieve goals and be a team player

-          Strong planning, interpersonal, communication and influencing and organizational skills

-          Experience of Oil- & Gas or Chemical Industries

-          Root cause analysis /incident investigation- training/experience

-          Strong stroke mechanical static and piping

-          Requires leadership experience.

-          Manage, direct and support a team of mechanical engineers.

-          Ensure the rigorous application of Company and Industry engineering codes, standards, practices and design guides for the Mechanical Discipline.

-          Carry out incident investigations, root cause- analysis and continuous improvement projects as required.

-          Contribute to safety reviews, risk assessments and investigations as the Mechanical Discipline focal point.

-          Maintain high level of expertise and capability in discipline and provide- support/direction to the Asset Mechanical Engineers.

-          Provide technical- support for / lead Management of Change proposals as necessary

-          Support/Advise or Lead Engineering studies where mechanical discipline input is required.

-          BRO for allocated Budgets

-          Requirement to join the Incident Management Team on call rota.
