Vacancies for KL Assignment, Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument

A leading and experienced EPCC contractor providing total solutions to meet the demands of its clients in the areas of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals & Gas Facilities and Industrial Plants, is looking for suitable qualified employees who is rightly motivated and who seeks challenging and exciting career to fill the following positions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office.

 

Piping Engineer

 Requirements:

 

·         Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering.

·         Minimum 5 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries.

·         Familiar with international codes and standard (especially ASME31.3, ASME, API, PTS, SHELL DEP, etc.)

·         Good knowledge in preparation of engineering specifications and Job instructions for piping designs, insulation, painting etc.

·         Good knowledge in Plant Layout Planning and Detailed Piping Design in view of Construction, Process Flow Scheme, Machinery Operation etc.

·         Familiar with coordination work with Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical interfacing with regard to layout and piping design.

·         Able to carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing plant documentation.

·         Having previous experience in Greenfield, Brownfield and plant modification projects.

·         Able to work in team and posses excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

·         Well verse with CAESAR II and AUTOCAD software.

·         Experience in PDS / CADWORX 3D Cad would be added advantage.

·         PC literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project as a minimum).

·         Good command in English (spoken and written).

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Establish standard and concept for the work to comply with job requirement.

·         Responsible in pipe routing and equipment layout planning study.

·         Responsible in engineering design works such as plot plan, key plan, Underground and Aboveground piping arrangement, construction isometric and pipe support detail drawing, field fabrication part, etc.

·         Responsible to review information drawings such as civil information, nozzle orientation, vessel clip, instrument component information and process information (piping isometric for calculation of hydraulic delta-p, etc.)

·         Review all internal design check (IDC) documents from all disciplines.

·         Coordination work with Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical interfacing with regard to layout and piping design.

·         Prepare project schedule and

·         Liaise with clients and vendors for technical issues.

·         Responsible in planning, scheduling, quality control of designated project to ensure that objective of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget.

·         Assist construction and commissioning activities (Field/Site works).

 

Electrical Engineer

 Requirements:

 

·         Posses a Degree in Electrical Engineering.

·         At least 5 years of working experience preferably in Oil & Gas industry.

·         Capable to prepare electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagram, Load Schedule, Motor Control Schedule, Cable Schedule, Cable routing drawing, Power and Control drawing, Area Classification drawing, grounding drawing, etc.

·         Sufficient knowledge of International Codes & Standards in relation to Electrical Design.

·         Able to undertake works in electrical design up to construction at site (supervision).

·         Experience in Project Engineering, Preparation of Electrical Inquiry Documents and commercial/technical Bid Evaluation. MTO and Cost Estimation and Inter-Discipline coordination.

·         Familiar with Electrical Equipments such as Transformers, HV & LV Switchgear, MCC, Motors, UPS, LCS, Communication equipments, etc.

·         Able to perform Electrical calculation such as Cable sizing/Voltage Drop calculation, Short circuit study, etc.

·         PC literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and knowledge in Auto-Cad.

·         Ability to work in team, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for delivering Electrical design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.

·         Electrical Design & Engineering Work – to develop engineering design work based on requirements and to coordinate with other departments on the design work.

·         Preparing pre-commissioning/commissioning procedure and assistance.

·         Construction Assistance – to provide supervision at the construction site (depends on projects varies from few days to few months).

·         Procurement Assistance – to provide data sheet to Procurement, prepare bid tabulation and conduct evaluation on vendors' quotation.


Mechanical Engineer


 Requirements:

 

·         Posses a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

·         Min 5 to 8 years of design experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

·         Knowledgeable in API, ASME codes and sound experience in handling Rotating machineries such as Pumps, Gas Compressors and Turbines.

·         Able to do inter-discipline co-ordination and possess good communication skills with clients and sub-contractor.

·         PC literate (MS Word / Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD)

·         Independent, self-motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:


 

·         Rotating Equipment Engineer shall execute EPC projects in mechanical department, with responsibilities of preparing job execution plan, machinery specifications, data sheet for vendor inquiry, requisitions, vendor technical evaluation reports, check/review/clarify vendor's bids, vendor's documents and P&ID related to rotary machinery.

·         The position is also responsible for controlling quality, cost, engineering schedule and work hours, and coordinating with clients/other engineering departments/engineering subcontractors/vendors.

·         The position is also responsible to instruct and coordinates with subordinates and other discipline engineers.

Instrument Engineer

 

Requirements:-

 

·   Candidates must posses at least a Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering background.

·   Minimum 5 years experience with at least 3 years of engineering design experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.

·   Experienced in handling rejuvenation and revamp project.

·   Familiar with international codes and standard (especially IEC, ISA, etc.)

·   Able to carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing plant documentation.

·   Experienced in Instrument installation or commissioning.

·   Knowledge with SPI INTOOLS software.

·   Good command in Malay and English (spoken and written).

·   Able to work in team and posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:


 

·         Responsible for delivering instrument engineering design work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.

·         Preparation of instrument datasheet, instrument list, I/O list.

·         Preparation of instrument sizing for flow element and valves.

·         Familiar with IPF methodology and implementation.

·         Control system such as DCS (Honeywell), ESD PLC, mechanical equipment package control system PLC and relay base system.

·         Preparation of loop drawings, interlock logic diagram.

·         Preparation of cable schedule, cable connection list, junction box schedule, etc.

·         Preparation of typical installation drawing, instrumentation hook-up drawings.

·         Preparation of construction drawings such as instrument plot plan, wiring layout, etc.

·         Preparation of Material Take-off for installations.

 

Process Engineer

 Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

·         Priority for candidates with 3-4 years process engineering experience in Oil & Gas and

      Petrochemical fields

·         Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

·         Willing to travel and station at site

·         Willing to work for long hours

·         Knowledge in AUTOCAD is a plus

·         PC literate (MS Office)

·         Good interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.

·         Familiarity with API and Petronas Standards.

·         Process Simulation Experience in PRO II.

·         Posses key skills such as Flexibility, Team Work, Problem Solving and Good

      Communication.

·         Member of professional body is an advantage.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Involve in various engineering stage such as Basic and Detail Engineering.

·         Participate in  ITB study and prepare bid specifications

·         Preparation Process Drawings such as  Process Flow Shem,  Piping & Instrumentation

      Diagram and other deliverables

·         Support precommissioning and commissioning activity

·         Interface with other internal disciplines such as Mechanical, Piping, Instrument

·         Accountable for success completion of assigned engineering tasks

·         Interface with clients and vendor to define project scope

·         Participation in Client, Vendor and Internal meetings.

·         Able to resolve technical issues
