external Community Relation Staff - Gresik based

Currently we have a 12-month contract position open in our* Gresik office*as
*External/Community Relation Staff**.*

Assisting the Community Relation Coordinator to maintain strong and close
presence/ communication in all communities at the lowest level possible and
other stakeholder such as local government, institution, NGO and media, the
position shall:

- Obtain information from the community and disseminate information to
the community to anticipate their current issues and needs, to find out what
is important for them and it's relevance to the community development
programs (through formal and informal meeting with prominent figures of the
local activities)
- Assist to develop and implement a sound and productive dialogue and
coalition network and programs based on the company objective and
strategy in Stakeholder Relationship. Working together with the
prominent figure in the community, NGOs and government
representative. Apply
the basic principles of conflict resolution, problem solving and
community development technique for directly impacted community to ensure
freedom of operation for the company (including, validation, planning,
coaching/ counseling, training, monitoring and evaluating).
- Participate wherever possible in any of the community function and join
the community to support any social activities or sponsorships that they may
organize
- Involve in conducting stakeholders mapping, local capacity and
resources assessment analysis *in order* to help the community to enhance
their capacities and skills needed for local development.
- Assist to carry out monthly monitoring and evaluation of the
activities to review the progress of the programs of the budget utilization
and program quality effectiveness. Inclusive of preparing budgetary work
plans /cost monitoring, and performance reporting.

Requirements:

*Technical Skill*

· Communicating skills to the stakeholders

· The oil and gas industry knowledge

· Internal and external communication

· Ability to build relationship and network with the local
community, government bodies, NGO

· Deep understanding of the community, including community
situational analysis, community power structure, community economics,
community demographics and social action process

*Education and Experience:*

· Minimum University degree with 5 years experience in relevant
field, preferably within oil and gas industry. **

*Basic Skill:*

· Computer literate: MS Office

· Fluent written and spoken English, basic local language
