Job Description

Our Client

Listed on the Singapore stock exchange, our client is a key player in the beverage industry. Currently, they are looking for a Corporate Communications Assistant Manager to be part of their dynamic and proactive team of communications professionals.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving media relations/communications initiatives to support company’s corporate, branding and marketing objectives. Initiating and executing creative publicity strategies to increase the company’s and brands’ visibility, managing trade communications, and media events management are central to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the designated brand teams and related agencies to actively lead all brand communications activities and programs to achieve optimal public relations value and effective coverage.
  • Work closely with relevant internal parties and external constituencies to ensure integration and consistency of messaging to target audiences, across corporate and brand levels.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport and relationship with media and other key stakeholders to influence media coverage for the benefit of the company and brands.
  • Actively lead and drive all media activities and events including launches, press interviews and press engagements.
  • Oversee and develop press releases, articles, special announcements, briefing documents and related materials that will raise the organization’s profile with a wider audience.
  • Manage the coordination of media queries, and proactively identifying editorial and interview opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or Social Science.
  • At least 3 years or more of broad communications experience (public relations, and/or corporate communications).
  • High-level project management, PR agency and planning experience, with a focus on communications.
  • Must have experience in dealing with the media, and preferably trade customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and a second language.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the media industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
