OPEN VACANCY FOR SR.MGR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Dear all, currently our client a Multinational NGO (Non Government
Organization) is seeking for high qualified candidates to fill the
senior Level position.

Job Title: Network Administrator Sr. Manager
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

JOB SUMMARY

This Position supports the NGO Country program and is a member of the
SEAPRO regional information technology (IT) support team. The network
Administrator's responsibilities include: installing, configuring, and
supporting the country program's local area network (LAN), Internet
system, or segment of a network system. The Network Administrator
monitors the network to ensure network availability to all system
users and performs necessary maintenance to support network
availability. Depending on the number of users on t he system, the
Network Administrator may supervise other network support and client
server specialist. In collaboration with the Regional Information
System Analyst (RISA), the network Administrator plans, coordinates,
and implements network maintenance and security measures in accordance
with Agency policy.

CORE TASKS

•Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective
components.
•Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
•Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing
environments including computer hardware, system software,
applications software, and all configurations.
•Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures to protect
data, software, and hardware.
•Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer
system and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and
use.
•Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and
maintain control records.
•Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software
and operating system software.
•Recommend changes to improve system and network configurations, and
determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
•Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to
be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the
future.
•Coordinate training of users in computer system use.
•Gather data pertaining to user needs, and use the information to
identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network
requirements.
•Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for
repair or replacement.
•Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance
and repair records.
•Maintain asset inventory on all country program hardware and
software.
•Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs.
•Coordinate with RISA and Agency purchasing personnel to facilitate
purchases.

•Administration software;

•Network operating software: Window 2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange
2003 Server, Window 2003 Domain Network Infrastructure and Active

Virus Defense Suite"
•Applications software: Microsoft Suite.

Knowledge

•Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic
equipment, and computer hardware and software, including
applications and programming.
•Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition,
and grammar.

understanding written sentences and paragraph in computer science
and work related documents.

activities in accordance with regional guidance and country program
requirements.

Education & Experience

•Minimum four-year Bachelor's degree in computer science or related
field.
•Minimum of two to four years previous work-related skill, knowledge,
and experience as a network administrator or related position.
•Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent, preferred.
•Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent, preferred.
