Job context :

Ambatovy will be utilizing four enterprise software applications. These applications specialize in the area of Finance/Supply Chain, Maintenance, Human resources/payroll and Document Management. The combination of those main applications composes Ambatovy Enterprise Business System.

The Business Applications Team insures the performance and the optimization of all Business Applications in the Ambatovy Project, and insures the quality of information for all department and services involved into the use of each Business Application.

 

Main Functions:

The main function of the Business Analyst – SCM Lead is to optimize the utilization of the Business Applications used in Ambatovy project, by insuring the adequacy of these Business applications with the business processes existing or to be implemented touching Supply Chain Management areas.

 

Mission/Responsibilities:   

1° Main responsibilities :

-          Participate in investigations, interviews, and formal or informal requirements gathering sessions to understand stakeholder needs,

-          Collecting, understanding business requirements and business processes existing in his domain,

-          Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions,

-          Analyse and document business processes,

-          Make the diagnosis of the possibilities offered by Business Applications utilized in his domain, in order to recommend/define the specific developments to be realized,

-          Translate business requirement document to requirement specifications,

-          Aggregate, review and formalise all User's functional expectations identified by Business Analysts under his supervision,

-          With the direction of the Business Application Lead, define and/or redefine business needs and optimize business processes in order to meet the business objectives,

-          Develop or refine business processes and process flow diagrams,

-          Insure the continual review and improvement of business processes in accordance with Business Applications used in his domain,

-          Serve as interface between the lines of business and the technical teams (Integrators / support or development team),

-          Serve as the daily functional support and advisor for End-users in Supply Chain Management domain,

-          Insure / contribute in control of the master data consistency affecting, directly or indirectly, Supply Chain Management domain,

-          Contribute in the control of the data flow (interface) between business applications used in his domain.

 Additional responsibilities :

-          Coordinate and supervise the activities of Business Analysts under his supervision,

-          Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear,

-          Follow-up all ongoing development project in his domain, and insure their consistency with the Users' expectations,

-          Participate in End-users acceptance testing to ensure output meets the requirements of the business,

-          Participate in the first validation of development realized, and insure the quality and the correctness of Outputs and Reports produced by the system before their deployment,

-          Fully participate & support the finance during the period closing,

-          Insure / supervise the consistency of master data touching finance & Accounting domain (Cost centres, projects, chart of accounts …).

Wanted profile

-         Solid background Supply Chain Management process,

-         Proven knowledge in integrated system and mainly experiences with Baan is appreciated,

-         Strong knowledge of Business Process Modelling and analysis,

-         Good understanding and use of tools associated with the role (e.g. Visio),

-         Good knowledge of the architecture of an integrated system.

Experience: level, domain, duration:

+ 5 years Experience in business analysis in medium or big industrial companies.

Behavior, required attitude

-          Good knowledge Supply Chain Management Business process,

-          good communication and interpersonal skills,

-          Good writing and documentation skills

-          Results & Customer (Users) satisfaction oriented.

 

Qualification/experience/wished behavior

- Possesses a university degree/college diploma in Business Management areas with proven ease in Information system management,

- Or a university degree/College diploma in Information system management with proven good knowledge in Business management areas.

&

5 years experience with Bann LN.
