Sales Engineer - Level Country Manager

Currently, we are looking for the right personnel for our Client Company, an UK Company who is specialist in Engineering Specialist for oil and gas industries, for the position of:


Sales Engineer

(Level Country Manager)

Jakarta Based


Establish in collaboration with the General Manager SEA and appointed agent, a plan of action for each industry sector.
Ensure a sound understanding of the divisions strategic growth plans, objectives and targets.
Ensure a sound understanding of the divisions Products and Services capabilities.
Be able to present the divisions service capabilities to users within the various industry sectors.
Obtain good enquiries for our service and after market business.
Enter and update enquiries and projects on the divisions CRM system on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with the Regional General Manager and appointed agent to ensure that potential enquiries and projects are identified at an early stage ensuring the division is well placed to tender.
Follow up on enquiries and project opportunities on a regular basis with a view to securing orders.
Source suitable sub-contractors to support our project related business.
Provide proper information on hand-over to contracts department.
Submit a weekly plan of action and visit report.
Submit monthly visitation reports.
Provide the three hubs with accurate information.
Lead the tender preparation, submittal and negotiations through to order placement.
Work within and ensure the agents work within the companies Code of Conduct.
Collaborate with the 2 other divisions in line with our strategic plans


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably CEO /GM / Director / Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Others or equivalent.
Having Computer Skills and knowledge of the following software:  MS Office Suite, Movex and CRM systems.
