FEEDSTOCK PROCUREMENT MANAGER

THE COMPANY

Our client is a major international company focusing on the
production and marketing of clean fuel for the world market. In
particular it emphasizes on growing its refining and premium-quality
renewable diesel businesses in the Asian region. The increasing
global demand for cleaner fuel, the rocketing price of petroleum and
the vast availability of raw material for the production of bio-fuel
has led our client to the building of a production plant in Asia for
the refining and marketing of its products.

POSITION

The company seeks to employ a Feedstock Procurement Manager for its
business in Asia.

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Commercial Director, in co-operation with the bio-
feedstock team in corporate head office, negotiate commercial terms
for palm oil and animal fat off-take agreements totaling 1 million
tons per year. Responsible for planning and managing the feedstock
procurement plan in Asia.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

• In cooperation with the bio-feedstock team in corporate head
office, to secure raw material for the Asia renewable diesel plan ( 1
million tons per year)
• Act as the in-house expert for palm oil industry and palm oil
trading
• Participate in and manage feedstock development projects in
Asia
• Follow-up the palm oil market and trading in Asia

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

University Degree

Experience and Skill Sets

• 5 years of relevant experience in supply, trading and
logistics of palm oil industry
• Experience in working MNCs would be an advantage

Others:
• Good knowledge of the SE Asia market
• A team player
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel

The job location is in Singapore and the candidate will be a part of
an international team. Annual salary is around RM350K-RM450K package
all in. Company is a no frills company but has a very good
international reputation.
