Vacancy at The World Agroforestry Center: Project Assistant SEANAFE (based in Bogor, Indonesia)

Recruiting a PROJECT ASSISTANT SEANAFE , based in Bogor, Indonesia.

The Position
The SEANAFE Project Assistant is expected to provide both administrative and technical support to the overall operation of the Southeast Asian Network for Agroforestry Education (SEANAFE). SEANAFE is a regional network of 88 universities and colleges in Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:
1. Provide administrative and communication services to project manager and ensure effective coordination and smooth implementation of activities of country networks and project partners/collaborat ors
2. Organize SEANAFE activities e.g. trainings, workshops, cross visits and internal and external meetings
3. Maintain and update SEANAFE databases of country network institutions, partners, and collaborators, and mailing list of SEANAFE publications
4.. Write project activity updates and compile information relevant to agroforestry education for SEANAFE website 5. and e-news and coordinate the uploading of the same with ICRAF-SEA IT Support Unit
6. Assist in writing and packaging SEANAFE mid-year and annual reports
7. Assist in designing and packaging SEANAFE’s promotional materials
8. Assist in processing student applications for ICRAF Fellows program

Qualifications and Skills Required:
This position requires at least the following qualifications and capacities:
- B.Sc in Management, Information Management, Communication or related discipline
- Holds two years experience with an international research & development organization
- Computer literate (on Window based-systems including Excel and ACCESS and other statistical program package)
- Self motivated and is able to work with minimal supervision
- Experienced in working with diverse group of partners (farmers, NGOs, local government officials, technicians, private sector, researchers and international organizations)
- Team-oriented and willing to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of ICRAF technical and logistical staff
- Good oral and written Indonesian language as well as English
