Following are the list of defined Module & Tasks for the Project:

1. Impact & Correlation

 

1) Active the impact installation (not able to start up) - (installation of  impact 4.0.2 has completed)
2) Correlation to create a single alarms that determine the root cause of a problem
3) 10 cross correlation alarms from Transmission (NERA, Alcatel RM/NM) to BTS alarms (TMOS, Siemens Radio commander)
4) To configure a scripts for alarm cleanup using generic clear function to remove old alarms

2. Historical Database Configuration/startup Historical Database (Oracle Database 10g)

 

To establish connection between Oracle Gateway to Object Server & Oracle Gateway to  Oracle Database. Oracle Gateway using audit mode.                                     

3. Interface to other system

GIS (Geographical Information System) integration - A Perl scripts to extract alarms from Alert. status (we have a sample of this perl script, need to reconfigure)
Trouble Ticketing (TT) System - Using Remedy. We need to estabish auto TT to forward to TT system

1) To create Perl script to extract alarms from FMS 2 Object Server (GUI)
2) We need to estabish a connection to forward auto TT to TT system

4. EMS integrations

EM's integration on the following EMS
a) TMOS parser (scripting for massage a raw alarm into a manageable alarm format)--
b) Fix problem related to probes (glf & stdin)
c) Siemens Radio Commander (scripting for creating of ASCII probe)
d) OSSRC3G - Parser (scripting for massage OSSRC3G alarms into a alarm format)
e) Integration of Alcatel RM & NM
