Job Singapore Requirement for System Engineer

We have an immediate opening for System Engineer

Reporting to : Service Delivery Manager

Requirements:

• Min of 3 years experience in server administration/ maintenance
• Provide remedy and preventive maintenance services for Server Hardware
• Knowledge in IBM OS400 and/or SUN Solaris Operating System
• Knowledge & experience in Windows Operating System editions, such as XP, Vista, Server
• Ability to operate and install desktops and laptops
• Responsible to provide monthly / weekly report of work progress
• Ability to lead a team of technical personnel
• Work closely with delivery manager to meet Service Level agreement.
• Knowledge in Linux is preferred but not mandatory

Educational Qualifications : Degree/Higher Diploma in IT or Computer Science
Good command of English language
Starting Date : By beginning of June 2009

The above position is for a minimum of 1 year contract but is very likely to be extended for additional 1 or 2 years.
