Java developer with iWay expertise

Location: NYC (Local Candidates only)

Duration: 6 months +

Pay Rate: Open

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory
skills will not be considered.

• A minimum of 4 years experience in Java developing for
large-scale enterprise systems.

• Strong knowledge of SOA and its concepts (EAI, Web Services, Data
Federation)

• iWay expertise

• Strong team player, ability to work on independent assignments

• Strong experience designing java messaging based systems

• Experience in Oracle writing stored procedures, triggers

• Strong java web service development experience.

• Strong knowledge of BEA Web logic; UNIX (Solaris and/or Linux);
XML/XSL; Java

• Ability to produce technical documentation;

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;

*DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE*

A Masters degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is desired; Experience
working on government technology projects is preferable. Experience with
search technologies and search implementation is beneficial as well.

*SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS *

References should be provided from at least two former or current clients
where the contractor has performed the same or similar work. Provide the
name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the reference as well as a
brief description of the work performed.

The primary role of the contractor will be to provide direction and support
in the deployment of iWay.

• Design and develop service oriented architectures (SOA).

• Develop messaging utilizing IBM MQ

• Install, configure, and deploy IWAY adapters

• Develop Java Web Services

• XML business logic design and development

• Document coding and testing efforts

*Deliverables:*

• iWay design

• iWay code

• Message schema

• Design document & code of web services
