JAVA APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST - based in Singapore
Our client is a multinational company from USA
Job Responsibilities :
Ability to write and debug Java or Delphi, SQL, stored procs and Unix scripts
Ability to conduct data and business analysis.
Daily maintenance of applications and troubleshooting problems with the application as they arise
Support internal and external business customers
Prompt response and resolution of issues raised by business.
Job Requirements :
Excellent knowledge of CORE Java is a must. Experience in Delphi is an advantage. Both are preferable
Extensive experience with SQL and databases
Experience with UNIX scripting and editors (vi or emacs)
Familiarity in working on NT and Unix operating systems
Background in financial services/banking area will be preferred.
Other skills desired:
Knowledge of J2EE an advantage
Combination of Java and Delphi or Java and .Net skills
Knowledge of xml an advantage
A keen interest in learning the business side of hedge fund accounting.
