The desired candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the following:
1. Carry out in-line inspection and record inspection data in Inline Inspection Reports
2. Record and report problems faced to his superior to enable decision making of held material

1. Receive and prepare samples from EAF, LRF, CCM to the required level to perform analysis
2. perform accurate analysis and transmit results in a timely manner on EAF, LRF and CCM samples to control the chemistry of molten steel store results in SAP
3. store each cast analysis test results in Sap to enable printing of test certificates to customers
4. Carry out analysis of mill rebar samples to check the compliance to the requirements of UK cares for product certification
5. Carry out non routine tests for samples Mechanical dept. to enable selection of material for in house fabrication
6. Preserve Cast wise CCM samples with proper label for future reference
7. Carryout daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on 2 spectrometers to ensure the availability of machines 24 x 7 for SMP and report consumables required
Also, a degree in Science is a must.
