Vacancy: Sales Manager in Jakarta


Our client, an IT Consulting Company in Singapore , is currently looking for:

Sales Manager (Jakarta Based)

1.      Job Summary:


This is a stand alone role working in our JKT offices covering a broad range of IT responsibilities.  Job holder will be responsible for the entire IT setup covering, implementation, maintenance of third party vendor's and our internal system applications (from front to back systems), including infrastructure of our newly establishing brokerage house in JKT.



2.      Principal Tasks:

§         Critical point of IT contact and support for JKT office.

§         Develop and maintain an effective relationship with management level/business people at Indonesia office.

§         Work closely with Regional IT team for project implementation and provide on going system support to local projects.

§         Manage and take personal ownership for deliverables of project with respective stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.

§         Manage and deliver IT infrastructure e.g. window platform, desktop support and computer room maintenance.

§         Manage all IT support and changes in a unified manner, co-ordinating with stakeholders as appropriate.

§         Manage all relationships with local vendors, ensuring SLAs are met.



3.      Education & Professional Qualifications Required:


Degree in Information Technology – BSc in Computer Engineering (or relevant qualification)



4.      Experience Required:


§         Experience in JKT brokerage/banking industry is a MUST requirement. Experience in foreign brokerage house in JKT is preferable.

§         5 years hands on IT experience with 2 to 3 years of supervisory role preferred.

§         Hands-on and familiar with front-to-back brokerage house/ banking system logistic, coupled with knowledge of Infrastructure, like, window platform, network, voice and data.

§         Experience in Indonesia Stock Exchange and Exchange related system infrastructure is a strong preference.

§         Effective and sound communication skills, with an ability to influence a range of stakeholders

§         Resourceful and must be able participate well as a team player with local team as well as remote team members in the region.

§         Fluent written and oral English.
