Permit to Work (PTW) Training Instructor
Basic Function and Scope:
Prepares PTW Training Modules. Conducts PTW training, Electronic PTW training, Permit Receiver training, Permit Issuer training, and Risk Assessment training for all Qatargas and Contractors PTW users. Communications of PTW training schedules and other training related activities across all PTW users in Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Contractors etc. Effectively managing training records of all PTW users. Conducting Competency Assessment of all PTW users. Preparing and issuing the Permit Receiver and Permit Issuer badges to all successful attendees.
B.Eng. Chemical Engineering or Equivalent. 10 years Operations / Maintenance/SHE experience in the oil and gas process and gas industry of which 5 years should have been as a Training Instructor. International Standards and best practices of PTW. SHE procedures and practices. Hazards Identifications. Risk Assessment and JSA practices. Integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW). Excellent Presentation skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Computer literacy and excellent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Used to working with multinational workforce

The provisional salary grade will be 6.
Basic Salary - Qrs.15,600 per month
Critical Skills Allowance (20% of his basic salary)
- Qrs.3,120 per month
Transport Allowance - QR.2,000 per month
Location Allowance (while working at Ras Laffan)
- QR.1,154 per month
Commuting Allowance (if accommodation at Doha to Ras Laffan
- QR.1,600 per month
Total - Qrs.23,474 per month
US$6,431 per month
Position Senior Electronic Permit to Work Analyst
Status Married (single status initially)
Contract Type Definite for 3 Years
Housing Will be provided by the Company. Depends upon availability at the time of your mobilization in Doha (fully furnished or semi furnished flat or villa).
Electricity & Water Subsidized by the Company as per policy
Children's Education Will be provided by the Company.
Medical/Dental Facility Available in Al-Ahli Hospital at Doha and Ras Laffan and Plant Area plus normal insurance coverage per policy.
Recreation Facility or or Club Membership Allowance Available in the Housing community and Beach Club (accommodation provided in Doha, then Club membership allowance of QR 10,000/- for married status and QR 5,000/- for single status per annum).
Leave Entitlement 37 working days within each calendar year
Airfare (per annum) Employee, wife and upto four dependent children staying in Qatar, at Economy rate annually to point of origin as per company policy.
Interest free car Loan Facility Qrs.75,000/- or 5 months basic salary whichever is higher (The loan is to be repaid in monthly installments over a period of 36 months).
Furniture Grant Married Qrs.55,000/- or Single Qrs.33,000/-(The amount will be depreciated over three years from the date of its payment at the rate of 40% for the first year and 30% for each of the following two years). (If fully furnished accommodation is provided this grant is not applicable)
Shipment of household effects 300KGs for single status, 600kgs for employee and wife plus 60kg for each dependent child. (If fully furnished accommodation is provided, do not ship furniture)
Performance Bonus Awarded end of each calendar year, subject to Board approval
End of Service Benefit One month basics salary per year of service
Compassionate Leave Leave granted to the employee in emergency situations involving serious illness or accident to dependents, parents, brother or sister, or mother- or father-in-law of an employee.
Life & Accident Insurance Scheme Qatargas Life and Accident, Insurance Scheme takes effect from the day the employee is engaged, provided he meets the physical requirements of the insurers.
Death from natural causes 3 years basic salary
Accidental death 3 years basic salary
Permanent total disability 3 years basic salary
Permanent partial disability Percentage of 3 years basic salary
Note: Qatari Riyal conversion to US$ is fixed at 3.65 to 1 US$.
• Three year fixed term
• For both permanent and temporary positions
• Base salary fixed for the three year period.
• No entitlement to annual Merit increase.
• ESB at 1 month for each year of service
• All other allowances and benefits applicable as per Company policy.
