Responsible to apply the preventive maintenance on all drilling equipments to minimize problems and shutdown scheduling to ensure timely and appropriate solutions is adopted avoiding and reducing downtime for drilling operation.
Provides technical advices and support to onshore and offshore rig maintenance personnel. Assists and coordinates the support of maintenance budgeting, control and scheduling activities. Follows‐up on equipment performance and equipment history as requested.
Key Accountabilities For Maintenance Engineer Role
Review planning, scheduling and effectiveness of predictive maintenance and preventative maintenance activities with equipment specialists.
Assist the Maintenance Manager with the day‐to‐day department management functions.
Support the Maintenance Supervisors Mechanic/Electric in their rig site role. Carries out trouble shooting of routine/non‐routine equipment failure, cause analysis and reliability audit as required.
Provide technical support and direction for some turnaround and shutdown activities.
Provide temporary vacation relief for department supervisors and Maintenance Mgr.
Assist the Maintenance Manager in the Safe and Reliable management of the maintenance department.
Develop scope and plans for maintenance projects. Estimate costs and draft approval forms.
Execute projects, direct third parties crew and work with the rig Maintenance Supervisors.
Track and report maintenance costs and schedules.
Responsible to play a key role in interfacing with other departments for logistics support, safety issues, technical evaluation and procurement.
Ensures applicability of technical standards, ABS class rules and any other rules & regulations in his discipline.
Review technical procedures of new designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, standard rules/regulations and safety codes.
Carries out evaluations, clarifications, wide decisions for equipment modifications or new replacement within the budget in his discipline.
Complies and adheres with company procedures and Integrated Management System (IMS)
Assures achieving the position KPI as assigned & designated by the company.
Responds to departmental requests for changes in existing systems/equipments to modify/enhance the system/equipment to obtain desired results in a safe and cost effective manner complying with standard rules & regulations.
Carries out other similar or related duties such as submitting periodic or special reports as requested, identifying and organizing specialized training requirements.
Assist and develop maintenance programs for input to the 5 Years Business/Operating Plans for equipment and installations with the objectives of achieving high service factors at optimum cost based on best on applicable codes/standards, OEM recommendations, equipment surveys/history and Life Cycle cost analysis.
Provide support/liaise with CM for all tender activities for preparation of Contracts for overhauls/maintenance activities of major equipment and minor projects/ modifications.
Key Accountabilities For Maximo Administrator Role
Setup security groups and users in Maximo.
Setup and maintain Maximo interfaces with external systems (Oracle EBS, MS Project).
Maintain calender and shift schedules.
Design and maintain Maximo Workflow using workflow designer.
Create and use escalations and notifications.
Perform screen changes and modify Value List/Domain using Maximo application designer and database configuration.
Maintain Maximo document library.
Maintain standard and customized Maximo Reports using BIRT.
Install Maximo and the prerequisite softwares.
