JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The candidate would complete the development of our SharePoint Extranet authentication and role-based management framework utilizing SharePoint alternative access mapping services. This approach would provide forms-based authentication externally and Windows A.D. authentication internally.
  • The extranet solution that runs on top of this framework is a custom grant management application consisting of application forms, multi-part workflows and integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM via web services and SQL.
  • Minor mentoring of custom application development in SharePoint is requested to help Senior ASP.Net developers get up to speed quickly.
  • Candidate will work with these developers and a SharePoint designer to complete the initial grant application deliverable.
  • The team will utilize the Agile SCRUM process (Stories have already been created and the Sprint Backlog tasks have been developed for many of the features).

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

A college graduate possessing 5-7 years of work experience
• Experience in SharePoint MOSS 2007 environment with forms-based authentication, developing advanced custom webparts and custom application pages, and content management and publishing
Experience in SharePoint MOSS 2007 designer is a major plus
Experience building public corporate websites and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint MOSS 2007
• Experience with designing and deploying public-facing websites – Internet, Extranet
• Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, Dynamic HTML and JavaScript required
• Experience converting existing content, sites, services into SharePoint 2007
Knowledge of .Net C# & object oriented design concepts
Experience with Agile (SCRUM) is a major plus
Experience with ASP.NET website development
• Knowledge of relational database development concepts
• Understands taxonomies, navigation principles and corporate portal design best practices
• Meets project deadlines and likes working in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Communicates with both technical and non-technical staff to support analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting of project issues as related to usability and design
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure and production quality under deadline pressure
Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills
