Position Responsibilities

SQL Database Developer
· Write new database stored procedures in support of development
team at large
· Create new database schemas in support of development team at
large
· Rewrite poorly performing stored procedures based on server
runtime analysis
· Manage database index and statistic constructs
· Create new SSIS scripts in support of development team at large or
at the request of IT Operations
· Manage existing SSIS scripts and legacy DTS packages
· Manage archiving and data retention
· Collaborate with IT Operations on other classic DBA
responsibilities
· Initial sub system responsibilities

Required Skills and Competencies:
· 5+ years of SQL & SQL Server experience
· Strong SQL – T-SQL Development skills – Stored Procedures,
Packages, Triggers, Optimizing SQL code, etc. using MS SQL 2000, 2005, &
2008
· Strong SSIS Script Writing skills
· Strong SQL Server DBA Skills – Performance – Backup & Recovery –
Administration etc.
· C#/.Net experience a plus
· Oracle 9+ experience desirable
· DB2 10+ experience a plus
