Business Analyst - Distribution
3 Months Contract to Hire
Atlanta, GA (perimeter)
Pay Rate: $45.00 hourly and $90K

Qualifying candidate will need strong BA with consulting background
                 
Information:                  
The Business Analyst will perform business analysis, solutions design, project management, and end user training/support for a new custom developed third party logistics management system.  The system would handle all sales/purchase order processes, inventory control, and warehouse/transportation management required to provide end to end third party logistics services for a wide range of customers.
 
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners and the IT application development team to develop comprehensive and concise business requirements to deliver world-class system solutions.
Must be able to take notes during a brainstorming session and organize them in a meaningful way.
Gather requirements, design, test, train, and communicate enhancements and new functionality for wholesale distribution and 3PL processes.
Must be able to develop documentation to support the requirements gathering and testing processes in the Software Development Life Cycle.
Ensure solutions comply with Financial Internal Controls, SOX, and other regulatory policies.

Preferred Skills:
Warehouse Management; TMS (Transportation Management System); Logistics
