As a federally owned enterprise, it supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ draws on 35 years of experience in international cooperation and knowledge gained in over 10,000 programmes and projects in 120 countries and 100 areas of expertise.

In addition to the German Federal Government, GIZ also works on behalf of international organizations, governments, foundations and companies with worldwide operations. Projects for these clients are carried out by GIZ International Services (GIZ IS).

GIZ IS puts together highly qualified and efficient teams of German, international and local experts. Drawing on this broad expert knowledge, we tailor our services in the individual programmes to meet even the most complex challenges.

In the course of planned co-operations in the areas of Trade and Investment Climate in Indonesia, GIZ IS is currently searching for Team Leaders and a number of Experts (short and long-term) working in the fields of:
1. Standardisation and Accreditation
2. Testing and Conformity Assessment
3. Food Quality and Safety (SPS)
4. Intellectual Property Rights
5. Public Finance Management
6. Domestic Trade and Services
7. Improvement of Investment Climate
8. Environment and Energy

Qualifications:
- Master Degree in Economics, Engineering, International Trade, or a discipline related to the above fields
- Relevant working experience in Indonesia or ASEAN countries
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the selected area
- Knowledge of European Commission project management procedures and financial regulations will be an advantage
- Ability to develop partnerships among officials and experts in the above fields
- Excellent verbal and written command of English
- Profound knowledge of Bahasa
