Helpdesk Analyst (Polisy/400 Smart/400)

Dicetek Singapore Pte Ltd. is looking for dynamic and committed
individuals who are prepared to join the growing demands of our MNC
client, as:

Helpdesk Analyst (Polisy/400 Smart/400)

Job Requirement

The candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience in the
following areas:
o Experience supporting V V IP is strongly required
o Doing IT support in a general insurance industry
o Remote Support, Support Printer and other IT Peripherals.
o AS/400 technical support and operation.

The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Polisy/400 and/or SMART/400.
The candidate should have an insurance background.
The candidate must have knowledge on AS/400 tools and utilities (such
as Query/400 and SQL, SDA, RLU, DFU, etc.).
The candidate must have knowledge of Windows Operating System, Active
Directory, and Network
The candidate must have knowledge on Notes email client, standard
Microsoft applications.
The candidate preferably must have an MCSE and/or CCNA certification
The candidate must be analytical and should problem solving abilities

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be reporting To Senior Operation Analyst.
As a first level support in the APZ IT Team, the individual is
responsible for conducting production support to ensure efficient and
effective operation.
Analyze requests, or problems sent to Help Desk.
Conduct root cause analysis and find trends and solutions to minimize
problems in APZ-IT Team.
Generate reports on the trend of requests send to Help Desk.
Answer emails and phone calls of APZ Help Desk.
Ensure the requests are followed up until users sign off.
Maintain Help Desk system, Peregrine.
Generate Management reports

Job Duties

Investigate Production problems and suggest/recommend resolutions.
Understand the users' requirements and able to interpret/document them
to second level supports clearly. Verify technical specifications,
database design, technical architecture, sizing, as required to
resolve production problems and enhancements.
Generate ad-hoc reports using Query/400.
Assist in assessing the impact and/or effort required to do a problem
fix, request or enhancement.
Develop standard documentation as required of a task (e.g. test
documentation, problem investigation, etc.).
Communicate effectively with users and other technical staff within
the APZ IT Team.
