Applications Manager, Asia Pacific


Our client is seeking experienced and qualified candidate for to the above role.

Objectives:
To manage BI and custom build .NET projects in AP.
 
Responsibilities:
- Programme management of BI and custom build .NET projects
- Business requirements analysis with business users
- Solutioning and effort assessment of work
- Manage offshore developers for development work
- Support the user acceptance process for supported applications
- Manage production issues
- Solution Architecting of custom build .NET applications and other MS technologies

Min requirement:
- At least 8 years IT experience
- Effective oral & written communication skills;
- Good presentation skills;
- Above average interpersonal / user liaison skills;
- Proven systems analysis & design experience;
- Must have experience in business analysis role, speaking to business users to get requirements, documenting functional specifications
- Good range of technical experience
- Good time management skills;
- Proven ability to work productively with minimal supervision and as part of a regional team.

Mandatory:
- Knowledge of VB, ASP
- Knowledge of workings of .NET, ASP.NET. Must have had hands-on development and team lead experience.
- Solution architecting experience for .NET applications (web, windows application)
- Logical Data modelling and Physical Database design skills
- Hands on working experience in MS SQL 2000, 2005 or above
- Hands on working experience on DTS (SSIS) and Analysis Services
- MS Windows 2000, 2003
- Microsoft IIS 5 or above;
- MS Visio

Good-to-have:
- Working knowledge of BO11 Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently;
- Sharepoint administration experience
- Sharepoint development (Infopath, workflow)
- Web site design & knowledge eg general workings, SSL, troubleshooting
- Program Testing and Quality Assurance
