Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) for Qatar



 

We are looking for Indian Nationals Currently available in India for the position of Senior Offshore Structural Design Engineer for 3 months contract duration with scope for permanent employment with our Client in Qatar, a leading Oil & Gas Consultancy.

The Details are as follows:

Must have 10-15 years work experience in conducting structural engineering analysis and design work for all types of offshore structures including fixed and floating.  Knowledge in difference types of offshore analysis such as Pre-Service (i.e. Lift Analysis,  Load-Out analysis,  Transportation analysis,  launch and upending analysis, On-bottom stability analysis) and In-service (i.e. In-place analysis with PSI,  Fatigue analysis,  Seismic analysis and vibration analysis.  Perform miscellaneous offshore design calculations such as pipe support, equipment support, riser and conductor clamp support, pad-eye, dropped object and detailed connections, etc.  Perform preparation of calculation report.  Conversant with handling software like SACS, GRLWEAP, STAAD offshore and SESAM.  Good knowledge of international standard related to offshore design such as API RP 2A, DNV, American, British, etc.  Perform offshore survey and prepare site survey report.  Good presentation skills and the ability to interface with clients.  Execute structural discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule,  while maintaining technical integrity.  Able to work independently and has the ability to lead a team of engineers and designers.  Must be a graduate of Civil Engineering,  Masteral studies  in Structural,  Ocean Engineering or Offshore Structures or equivalent.
