Senior Visual Designer
Location: Los Angeles , CA
Duration : 6-12 Months+

We need senior people for this, if on H1b At least 7 yrs of US exp, in person interview a must.
As a Visual Designer you will work closely with Product Managers, Interaction Designers and Engineers to build intuitive, simple and informative data-driven user interfaces. You will be part of a small team of high-impact players, charged with driving product design for key components of the MySpace user experience by leading Visual Design deliverables across multiple verticals throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Visual Design deliverables.
• Experience working with Interaction Patterns and Style Guides
• Act as the mediator between user needs and business objectives
• Translate usability and user research findings into tangible design
• Communicate design recommendations and rationale to key stakeholders at all levels
• Collaborate with other MySpace product teams to develop cross-product solutions across MySpace and the ability to work well in a user-centered agile design process
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Requirements:
• Strong portfolio with examples of Interaction Patterns and Style Guides.
• At least 5 years experience as a key member of a Visual design team participating in the complete product development life-cycle of successfully launched consumer online products
• Values strong visual design and pays fanatical attention to the details that make the difference between a mundane and a delightful user experience
• Able to quickly understand the constraints of a design problem, identify the tradeoffs and communicate them to decision makers and fellow designers
• Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills
• Strong empathic skills--understands how and why an interface succeeds or fails and can spot likely problems in flow, layout, copy or presentation before they go into production
• Able to create testable paper prototypes and high-fidelity static prototypes
• Able to work independently as well as in teams that span multiple functions
• Able to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• College and/or advanced degree(s) in Visual Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, other computer-related design disciplines, Computer Science, or equivalent.
