We have a requirement for Chief Software Architect with a client company, who is passionate about product development and taking on a responsible role in the architecture, design, development and successful deployment of a mobile communities system which is being offered as a value added service to millions of mobile users and is already available in 32 carrier networks across 21 countries.

Position: Chief Software Architect

Location: Noida

Summary: We are seeking an engineer excited about designing and building our solution using the latest technology. As part of our exceptional team, you will work with cutting edge industry technologies (J2EE, XML, EJB, Tapestry, Hibernate, Postgres). You should have hands on experience in developing scalable and reliable multi tier, database driven, client server, distributed business software solutions based on J2EE technologies. While this job is an individual role and does not require team management, the candidate would be a team player

Skill Set

Must have excellent working knowledge of design principles and patterns

Solid understanding of overall system performance and efficiencies of a 3-TIER architecture including interactions between database and application servers is required

Excellent analytic, problem-solving skills

Must have ability to fine tune different layers of the system for scalability

Experience in Servers, Frameworks and languages (Jboss, Tomcat, Core Java, Tapestry, J unit, Ant, Log4J, Javascript, Java servlet)
Experience with Relational Databases And Data Binding Tools (Postgres, MySQL, JDO, Hibernate, JAXB)
Knowledge of Software Engineering Best Practices Such As UML

Responsibility

Will be responsible for architecture, design and development of application as per specifications

Advise Team on Implementation / Design Patterns, Refactoring, Unit Testing & Extreme Programming
Work with Product Head for Any Issues and Resolution of Pitfalls in Technology and Architecture

Experience

10-12 years

Qualifications

BS (computer science), BE, ME, MS (Computers) from reputed universities
