Web Crawler & Data Engineer
Job Summary As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop server-side code for web-based applications. You are also a well-rounded developer who knows how to create robust high-volume production applications, and can also build prototypes quickly. The work is challenging, creative, fast paced and intellectually stimulating.
Responsibilities
· Design and implement web crawlers to extract data from selected web sites
· Process huge volume of extracted data using open source search engines
· Build extensions on top of open source search engines
· Design and develop large-scale e-commerce applications
Requirements · At least 3 years of relevant working experience in web crawler technology · Proficient in search engine technologies, such as Lucene or Solr. · Experience in building web crawlers. · Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux · Experience in distributed computing, information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning · Experience in system performance analysis and optimization · Master of web technologies HTTP/HTML/XML/AJAX/Javascript/PHP/. NET). · Master of regular expressions, perl/python, and state-of-the-art UNIX tools/tricks. · Skills with MySQL and MSSQL databases · Able to read and speak Mandarin · Only Face to face interviews
