E,I&C Engineer - Technical Evaluation Team


 

A Major Operator requires an Electrical, Instrument & Controls Engineer to join their PMT on an initial 3-6 month contract in Dubai, UAE or Perth, Australia with some time in PMT Office in Muscat, Oman.

Reporting to the Evaluation Team Leader the main responsibilities are:
o Participate in a multi-discipline Technical Evaluation & Assurance team in Contractor office during the tendering phase in order to continuously review Tenderer's E, I & Controls engineering proposals for the Abu Butabul Project Central Process Facility (CPF) and conclude a formal technical evaluation report as part of the Contractor selection process.
o Participate in the related assurance processes and Engineering, HSSE and Operational reviews, leading the main assurance stage functional reviews.
o Following Contractor selection, participate in a multi-discipline Technical Assurance team to work with Contractor and PMT/BGA peers to deliver FEED E, I & Controls system engineering deliverables matching the project's throughput, product quality, reliability, availability and operability objectives.
o Participate in the related assurance processes and Engineering, HSSE and Operational reviews, HAZOP, QRA and Safety Case leading the main assurance stage functional reviews.
o Identify E, I and Controls engineering related risks and mitigation measures
o Identify and capitalise on potential opportunities to align Contractor's proposal with requirements
Track, record and where possible close-out actions related to the above

Qualification: Engineering Degree or equivalent
Experience: 10-15 years Oil & Gas sector. Previous experience in FEED or technical evaluation teams.
