SUMMARY
Support Touchstone firmware that is designed to run on Wide-band or regular Cable modems as well as Embedded MTA.
DUTIES
- Develop firmware feature sets per internal prioritization.
- Work with Tech Services group to investigate field issues.
- Following software development process to document design and update product defects in the ClearQuest system.
- Provide progress reports to managers.
- Work with SQA and integration groups to resolve issues found by internal testing.
- Support the manufacturing testing groups.
- Write firmware design documentation.
Required Skills
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Minimum
Formal Education: BS in Comp E or EE as a minimum.
Experience (type & duration): 2-5yrs
Skills: Good structured programming experience (C/C++, NOT HTTP, XML, Java, etc)
Required Experience
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Preferred
Formal Education: MS in Comp E or EE is preferred
Experience (type & duration): Any Co-op experience or Master's level project experience
