Position title : Utilities Engineer
Position status : Permanent
Working hour : Monday – Friday (8.30am-5.30pm)
Requirements:
1. Engineering Degree (preferably in mechanical & instrument engineering)
2. Four (4) years experience in this industry.
3. Proven Supervisory and Technical Skills.
4. Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical facility and statutory quality regulations & legislation.
5. Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations & legislation.
6. Written and verbal command of English to technical standard.
7. Knowledge and understand of BMS & EMS is required
Main role: Manage the team of engineering personnel to provide the facility, the utilities and engineering support to ensure that our products are manufactured and delivered to the customer on time, made at the best cost, safely and above all to the required quality standards for sterile products, fully compliant to regulatory requirements, right first time according to the Quality Management System.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist the management to plan, organize and coordinate engineering activities for all of Pharmaniaga Life Science Sdn Bhd facilities and Non Clean Utilities including Steam Boiler, Air Compressors, Chiller Plants, ACMV, Gases, Office Buildings, Warehouses and Manufacturing Plants.
2. Assist the management in implementing and executing facilities and equipment upgrading and new installation or construction projects.
3. Oversee and supervise contractor engaged in engineering upgrading or project work to ensure timeline, schedule, work standard, quality and budget are in line with planned requirements for the following type of projects:
4.Mechanical, electrical, civil/building, instrumentation & controls
5. Provide engineering and technical support services to other Pharmaniaga LifeScience Sdn Bhd facilities/installations as and when required. This includes evaluation of the effectiveness of Preventive Maintenance programmed, external contract works and safe work procedures.
6. Identify, propose and implement engineering projects to improve production efficiency and quality, cost and energy savings at all company's facilities.
7. Liaise with the relevant government agencies and authorities to ensure the company's compliance to statutory requirements, such JKKP, DOE, Bomba and Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
8. Ensure new plant and equipment installation follows and adheres to GMP, ISO and OHSAS guidelines
9. Any other work as assigned by the superior from time to time.
