A global service company are looking to recruit a Regional Operation Manager for their Kuala Lumpur office. You will be responsible for handling the operations for the Directional Drilling Units
You will be joining one of the leading players in the oilfield services. With operations worldwide they are right at the forefront of the oil industries latest technologies. My client are looking for an engineer with at least 12 years experience in the industry (including field operations and management). With an excellent knowledge of directional drilling operations, equipment and processes you will have the ability and experience to lead the operations throughout SEAsia.
Scope of Role:
You will be responsible for all Directional Drilling operations in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
Direct Reports:
Country Operation Managers, Repair & Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manages the operations of SEAsia for directional drilling services
- Responsible for P&L
- Responsible for employee management and development, inventory management, sales, engineering, maintenance, operations, service, HSE, training, planning and budget management
- Liaise with customer representatives to ensure flawless execution of drilling jobs
- Monitor progress of job(s) or project(s)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Maintain and develop existing business contracts and relationships
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years experience including experience as a direction driller
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities
- Contract management
- Strong team leadership
