*Financial Help Desk Analyst - NYC

*Face-Face Interview*

Junior Financial Systems Analyst / Help Desk temp role

*Location*: NYC

*Duration:* 3 months +

*Rate:* Market

The Financial Systems Analyst temp will provide day to day support for all
the systems used by the Finance department including Great Plains,
TM1,Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports as well as any of the interfaces
with any other home-grown systems.

*Responsibilities*:
• Answer end user phone calls and emails
• Create trouble tickets in response to user requests for assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues (Level 1 support issues) over the phone
using remote tools
• Route/Dispatch Level 2 and 3 support issues
• Will be the first level of contact that the users have with the group
• Add users, create new accounts, maintain security, and open/close fiscal
periods in Great Plains
• Responsible for initially handling and recording all calls and emails made
to group
• Triage requests and assign cases to the group based on skill,availability
and need

*Requirements:**
*• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Information Technology
• Prior experience with Accounting, Crystal Report Writer, and Microsoft
Project
• 2 years work experience with Great Plains
• Strong MS Excel skills; basic SQL and programming experience
• Previous customer service experience desirable
• Help Desk support experiences a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be responsible, self motivated, and well organized
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent issues while adapting quickly to
rapidly changing priorities
• Must be willing to learn

*IT Skills*:
Software: Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project
ERP Software: Dynamics Great Plains or any other ERP application
Report Writing Software: Crystal Report Writer
Programming Languages: SQL
Databases: SQL Server 2005 or Oracle

*Great Plains Skills:**
*Modules needed: GL, AP, AR, POP, SOP, Collections management, Bank
Reconciliation, Integration Manager, Multicurrency, Intercompany, Deferred
revenue and expenses
